Information & How To Join

We are a small running club located in Highworth, a small town near Swindon in Wiltshire. To view maps of where we meet and race starting places scroll down. This page contains details of who to contact, where and when events and training sessions are held, and the costs of these activities.

When Our Sessions & Events Are

Beginners Session

We have regular training sessions and events. Current training days and times are as follows and maps to starting locations can be found below. More details of all sessions can be found in the current newsletter.

Beginners Session - Every Wednesday (From January 2007) @ 6pm starting from Vorda Playgroup
Advanced Session - Every Wednesday @ 7pm starting from Vorda Playgroup

Where We Are

Our main training sessions start from Vorda Playgroup. The Highworth 5 mile starts from Highworth's Warneford School and the Highworth invitation only half marathon starts from the Silver Threads Hall. All of these places can be located on the maps available HERE.

Fees

Highworth Running Club has a one off yearly membership fee of just £12 payable by all members who attend any training sessions within that year.

Any events (other than regular training sessions) carry an extra fee which will be payable prior to the event and will be communicated to all members.

How To Join

To join you will also need to fill in a membership form and bring it to your first event or session. This is available on the 'Downloads' page. Then either just come to one of our sessions or contact Peter O'Brien one of the following ways:
